Foliar, trunk, or soil injections of an insecticide or fungicide are used to help suppress and eradicate infections in trees or shrubs. These applications can target specific insects such as spotted lanternfly, emerald ash borer, aphids, and scale. We also address fungal issues including powdery mildew, black knot, and root rot.

We offer spring, summer, and fall treatments. The products we use vary depending on the time of year and include macro- and micronutrients, along with a unique blend of essential minerals, seaweed extract, humates, surfactants, and humectants designed to promote root development and reduce water stress in trees and shrubs.

Soil decompaction is performed with an Air Spade, a specialized tool used in arboriculture to excavate soil around tree roots without causing damage. It uses compressed air to break up compacted soil and expose the root system, allowing better access to nutrients, water, and oxygen. This process helps improve overall tree health by promoting root growth and reducing stress.

A growth regulator is a xylem-mobile product that slows vegetative growth by inhibiting gibberellin biosynthesis. Treated trees may exhibit shorter internodes, a reduction in the diameter of the main stem, a thicker leaf cuticle, and, in some species, an increase in fine root growth. Energy that would normally support excessive growth is redirected toward strengthening the tree’s natural defenses against infection.

Each month, a certified arborist will walk the property and inspect every tree and shrub for potential concerns. When appropriate, IPM tools may be implemented to reduce the need for pesticides. These methods can include hand removal of insect egg masses, soil decompaction, and irrigation adjustments.
